Blueprint Ocean Legacy
Blueprint Ocean Legacy helps families, youth, and communities navigate loss through learning, remembrance, and stewardship. Through Grief to Reefs™, we connect grief education, continuing bonds, and ecological grief awareness with ocean conservation awareness and coral reef education, giving people meaningful ways to honor loved ones while contributing to the health of our oceans and the reefs that support all life.
We believe grief deserves somewhere meaningful to go. Participants translate grief and remembrance into purpose through stewardship pledges, conservation participation, youth engagement, and community ocean awareness efforts, creating living legacies that honor loved ones and support the ocean. Our events begin in Florida's coastal communities and will soon expand nationally and globally.
Whether you are a family carrying loss, a death doula or grief practitioner, a hospice professional, a caregiver, a volunteer, or someone who simply wants to support this work, there is a place for you here.

Grief to Reefs™
Our flagship program connecting grief education, ocean conservation awareness, and coral reef education for families, youth, and communities navigating loss. Grief to Reefs™ was born from a simple but powerful belief that love does not end with loss, and that grief can become something purposeful, something that gives back to the ocean and the world our loved ones cherished.
Through workshops, community gatherings, and education, we help families translate love and loss into purpose and stewardship action for our oceans and coral reefs. Participants learn about the significance of coral reef ecosystems, explore the connection between personal loss and ecological grief, and discover ocean-aligned ways to honor loved ones in meaningful and lasting ways.
As part of our grief education work, we share information about reef memorials and ocean-aligned remembrance options so families can make informed choices about honoring their loved ones. When funding allows, criteria-based memorial support awards are available for eligible families through approved providers.
Grief to Reefs™ events come to communities wherever families need them. We create a coastal atmosphere and bring the ocean experience to you, through education, remembrance, and connection to the ocean and coral reefs we all share.
Grief to Reefs™ programs, workshops, and events are open to all. No family will ever be turned away due to inability to pay.

Participants earn a ReefChangemakers™ badge
Community education for those who feel called and connected through grief, remembrance, and the ocean. Families and communities become advocates for ocean conservation and coral reefs.
