About Us
Our Mission

Blueprint Ocean Legacy™ helps families, youth, and communities navigate loss through learning, remembrance, and stewardship. Through our flagship program, Grief to Reefs™, we connect grief education, continuing bonds, and ecological grief awareness with ocean conservation awareness and coral reef education, giving people meaningful ways to honor loved ones while contributing to the health of our oceans and the reefs that support all life.

Our Story
Blueprint Ocean Legacy was built on a simple but powerful belief, grief deserves somewhere meaningful to go.
We exist at a place where two urgent realities meet: the universal human experience of loss, and the growing decline of coral reef ecosystems around the world. Many families seek ways to honor loved ones that go beyond the moment of loss. Many communities are watching both people and reefs disappear.
Grief to Reefs™ was created to hold both of those truths, giving families a way to carry love forward while contributing to something real and lasting for our oceans.
We are an education and community organization that believes remembrance can become stewardship, and that grief, when given a place to go, can become one of the most powerful forces for connection and care for our oceans.

Our Vision
A world where grief has a channel, where families and communities honor the lives of those they love through remembrance, ocean stewardship, and coral reef awareness, carrying love forward through action and care for our oceans.
Our Values
Compassion — Every person who comes to us is carrying something real. We meet them where they are, without rushing, without judgment, and without barriers.

Education — We believe access to knowledge changes lives. Our programs are built to be accessible, thoughtful, and grounded in the study of grief, continuing bonds theory, and ecological grief awareness.

Stewardship — We take seriously our responsibility to the ocean and the communities we serve. Stewardship is not just an action. It is a way of showing up.

Community — Grief is not meant to be carried alone. Community has the power to comfort and move us forward together. We build spaces where families and communities can come together, learn, and walk forward in honor of the people and places they love.

Integrity — We are transparent about who we are, what we offer, and how we operate. Families and communities trust us with some of their hardest moments. We honor that trust in everything we do.
